Actually, if you wanted, you could have it output to 8 channels but I
don't know of any software that can take advantage of that capability.
Most, if not all, IIgs audio software just uses odd and even channel
numbers for left and right (or vice versa, I can never remember :-).
But if you are writing your own software you can always take advantage
of a system with more that two channels.
