I seem to remember seeing a 'virtual disk' system on some guy's web
site; lets you hook your //e's game port up to a PC's serial port and
have 'virtual disks' that consist of storage on the PC.  He had code to
type into the monitor on the page.

Basically, as long as the ROM monitor works, you can run any software
at all on the //e.  You just have to type it in first.  :)
