Here is what I can tell you.  I have the case torn apart and reconnected
everything that had to be disconnected to get the case apart.  I turn the
monitor on and the power light comes on, but there is no picture.
Observation of the picture tube shows only a slight glow.  I would normally
expect this to be brighter then what I am seeing which leads me to believe
that it is some sort of power problem.  Typically in my limited experience
with televisions, this would more than likely indicate a problem with the
high voltage power supply.  I also found that there were a couple of burn
marks on the leads to a couple of resistors, but they metered out fine.

I received this unit along with the rest of a GS that had an incident with a
power spike.  The spike fragged the surge protector and the power supply in
the GS.  The power supply appears to have had a slight fire and darkened the
inside of the GS and the monitor.  There appears to be no smoke damage after
I cleaned everything with some alcohol.  The GS is back on line after some
cleaning and a swap out of the power supply, but the monitor is having the
described problem.

The power supply in my O-Scope is toast and finding parts for a 1967
Techtronix is harder then walking on water.  So, I can't do anything more
than put a meter on it until I can afford to get a new scope.

If you can get the monitors for $10 in your area, I would be real interested
in getting a couple of spares.
