     $150 for a new 15MHz GS accelerator would not be especially cheap;
yet, it should not be too difficult to produce such a board in medium
quantities for less than $100; and, it seems likely that the board would
be a good seller.

     It's unclear what a new IIgs Expansion Box could sell for. With a
20MHz 65C816, 32MB RAM, monitor in ROM, serial I/O, Game I/O, new & old
Slots, and including some sort of simple developer's display video
output, it would start off as a pretty bare bones system. On the other
hand, it would be fairly inexpensive to build. 

     As for Second Sight, its biggest flaw is that it failed to produce
a miracle-- i.e. bring the IIgs video up to VGA levels with no change in
OS, no increase in base system speed, no increase if system RAM, and no
mods to the GS power bus. Put the board (or something like it) in a new
GS expansion box with a fast 65C816, 32MB RAM, flexible monitor in PROM,
and solid power distribution, ... and it's a whole different ballgame.
