If the name of the text file on the MS-DOS disk does not end in .txt,
GS/OS will not recognize it as a text file. It will be copied as a
binary file. You will have to change the filetype somewhere on either
the Apple IIGS or the Mac. The IIGS filetype is $04 or TXT, while the
proper Macinoths filetype is TEXT. Next time, rename your text file to
*.txt on the MS-DOS end.

P.S. If your Mac has a high density drive (1.44MB SuperDrive), you can
use it to read your MS-DOS disk and cut out the Apple II all together.
If you're using System 7 or later, install PC Exchange. If you're using
System 6, use Apple File Exchange. Once again, make sure the file on the
MS-DOS disk has the .txt extention. E-mail me if you need the Mac stuff,
as it should be part of the System Software.
