Yes.  If you have more than two drives on a SmartPort controller (i.e.
anything that follows the SmartPort firmware interface, not to be
confused with the actual disk connector or protocol used to talk to
UniDisk 3.5 drives) in any slot, then ProDOS-8 2.0.3 will remap the
extra devices to unused slots.

It obeys the old rules for the first two drives in each slot (using the
ProDOS driver), and for the first four in slot 5 (slot 5 drives 3 and 4
will be remapped to slot 2, assuming it doesn't contain a disk
controller, and will still be accessed using the ProDOS block driver on
the card).

The RamFast has always supported more than two devices - it remaps them
itself.  This remapping is incompatible with ProDOS-8 2.0.1 or later, so
you have to either disable the RamFast's remapping, or patch ProDOS to
stop it from trying to remap things as well.
