That assumes that he has some idea how to do it. That seems unlikely
since if he knew how to forge email addresses he would have claimed
that his was forged instead of claiming that someone broke into his
house and used his computer which was left on, logged into his account,
while he was away for 2 weeks.
Really now, how ridiculous does the story have to be before you throw
up your hands in disgust?
Once again, here are the facts as I see them:
1) Charles Turley has done some useful and helpful things
2) I have no proof that Charles Turley has done anything wrong
3) I have heard firsthand accounts from trustworthy people of very
erratic behavior in the past from Charles Turley
4) Charles Turley admits that he pirated software in the past
5) There is considerable evidence that strongly suggests (not proves)
that Charles Turley sector edited and illegally uploaded commercial
software in the recent past, including the Convert 3200 source
and LemminGS.
6) Charles Turley's explanations are protestations are both ridiculous
and self-contradictory.
7) Occam's Razor usually provides the truth and therefore...
8) It is extremely likely that Charles Turley is responsible
for uploading the Convert 3200 source and LemminGS
However, You won't see me calling Charles Turley names or telling to
leave this newsgroup. It won't do me, him, or anyone else any good
to do so. Neither will I be associated with him or his silly groups
nor will I make use of any service he offers, or take anything from
him.
