Check that the magnet on the bottem right hand side of the front cover 
hst fallen off. If it has you can do 2 things one unscrew the top cover
and solder a jumper a cross the reed relay then the printer will alwase
thing that the front cover is on. Two  you could go to an apple dealer
and try to have one ordered in for you.
