There was indeed a daughter card for the RamWorks III which supported both
digital (CGA) _and_ analog RGB output. I have one in my //e at home.
(Unfortunatly my slush fund is depleted so I don't actually have an RGB
monitor to connect to it.) As Mitch Spector noted in another post, it is
called the 'ColorLink RGB Option.' I don't have any of the data with me
but if you like, I could check when I get home as to the year of
manufacture and other technical details.
As to the original question of this thread, even with its analog output,
this card could not support the higher sync rates of Mac or modern PC
monitors. (Note: I should say that I am almost, 100% positive of this
statment but have no technical documents on hand to back up this claim.)
