Scribe printer questions

I got myself a Scribe printer as part of a package from a used computer store.
You know, the old thermal transfer printer that Apple sold early in the //c
days. I haven't seen one of these in years and never used one to speak of.
It didn't come with a cable, and it has a DB25. Does that mean an original IW
cable will work? Also where would a feller find the special paper you have to
use with such a printer?
