There is a good article in the Jan/Feb '94 issue of II Alive which
goes over this matter...if you can find a copy, it makes for decent reading.
What I have gleaned from this is that a volume (block) backup needs to be
restored to the same size volume from which it was archived _and the volume
must have the same name as the origianl_ otherwise, it will restore to
a folder and will quit at a limit of 16 Meg even if your archive is larger
than that (16 Meg is all it's allowed to put in the folder).
I haven't tried this sort of backup with my own files yet...too many other
interesting things came with my new hard drive and I had original disks
for the important programs, but I expect to do so eventually...just have to
clear a couple vilumes into which I can put the unarchived files....
