Re: SCSI HD IIGS: Question - How to boot both 8-bit and 16-bit software?
The coolest combination for 8 + 16 bit in 1 partiton is to use Ninja
Force's Taifun Boot.
If I hold the the control key when my system boots, then Taifun Boot's
GUI pops up, allowing me to select booting into Sys 6.0.1, Sys 6.0,
or ProDOS 8.
If I boot into ProDOS 8, it actually goes into the awesome Davex 8 bit
shell (by Mr. Tangent, David Lyons). There I can do lots of neato
stuff including lauching apps with cool aliases. (I seem to remember
Davex is now freeware? If not, I better get my $10 ready :-)
If people are interested in the setup, I can post more details later...
Right now I gots to get some sleep.
