I don't think this type of joystick is available for the GS, but it's the 
ONLY kind available for the Mac (for example, I think one is called "
Mousestick").  Since the GS and Macs use the same ADB, you could probably 
get a Mac joystick to work fairly easily, you'd just need to write a driver 
for it.
  I don't know how to write a driver of this type, but I'm sure there's a 
way to do it if it can be done on the Mac.  It's just a matter of how much 
screaming and hairpulling you're willing to do. :-)
