What comms software are you using? Z-Link and ProTerm let you set the
IIgs to speeds higher than 19200. TIC doesn't, and I haven't seen any
others. You'll also need hardware handshaking support in the software.
Do you actually need to go faster than 19200? I'm running a ZyXEL
U-1496E on my IIgs at 14400, and I rarely get file transfers going
faster than 1600 characters per second. Message reading, etc. might
peak at over 1920 cps, but the IIgs can't keep up anyway.

I'm using an unaccelerated ROM 3. It works fine at 19200 (well, not
perfectly, due to the vast number of extensions I have installed, some
of which are delaying interrupt responses enough that I lose blocks on
occasion in a file transfer).
