This is unquestionably appropriate for comp.sys.apple2 since it relates
to Apple II's.

However discussion of WWW in general belongs on a different newsgroup.

Joe, you can subscribe to as many newsgroups as you want. Read both
c.s.a2 _and_ the WWW related groups, and you'll have a chance to trade
information and ideas with people who are already using WWW on many
different platforms. Apple II newbies who want to get into WWW should
be advised to do the same after you whet their appetites here.

The above is standard procedure for this sort of thing; a huge BBS system
like usenet, self-managed as it is, depends on our own adherence to such
procedures. In the past some newsgroups have neglected to topic police
their own discussion and degenerated into swamps of noise. People tend to
be touchy about getting blamed/flamed for posting off-topic, so disclaimers
like "this is probably off-topic, but..." are popular when someone wants to
talk about something that doesn't have an obvious group for it.
