	OOOH! a Hijacking! :)
As I've said before, this would be marginally more appropriate for the
c.s.a2.comm group.

I sincerely hope that it waits some sane amount of time like 5-15
seconds before that retry. Otherwise, I can easily envision flooding some
poor ftp server so that no one gets any work done.

Notice that the Auto-Login feature which Joe is so enamored of is a
problem when you're transferring files between machines upon which you do
have accounts. It tries to log you in as anonymous, which is not what you
want -- ncftp -u will revert this behavior, but it's still potentially
quite annoying.

The wonders of history tracking and context-sensitivity -- known in
1960, brought to you in 1990.

	nn, csh/ksh, vi, and mail.
I can tolerate ELM for short bursts, I would use TCSH if it weren't
such a system load, and there are plenty of other editors that all suck,
too ... :) I've never seen a newsreader that I liked better. (notice I
didn't say more capable -- tin/xrn/rn/NewsWatcher/NewsGrazer do have other
feature sets, but I don't like them.
