The more copies of old software people have and are using, the better. It
just makes it that much easier to scratch up a copy of something that might
otherwise have succumbed to bitrot in the collection of a "true Apple IIer".

You must learn, Grasshopper, to separate the virtue of the ][ from the
physical hardware it once resided on.

(otherwise, I'd be committing sacrilege for running my old games on my
newfangled (well, somewhat) GS, and let's not even *mention* things like
DOS 3.3 Launcher, or Ron Dippold's recent binary postings :).
