Actually there's another solution - place the System folder on the desktop
and it will work fine. Seems kinda vulnerable out there by itself (kids
love trash icons, don't they? ;-) but at least it will continue to place
your files in the correct places.
Mine just stays yellow all the time on one of my systems, never shows the
little apple at all. Grr.
