Why is it that so few programs ever used Fillmode graphics? It's quite
capability of producing animation you'd only expect from a system like the
SuperNintendo, and even on a stock 2.8 Mhz IIgs! The only limitions seem to be
15 colors per scanline and animated shapes cannot be of exteremly high detail
due to method Fillmode uses to created animation (more like mathematical geome-
tric shapes). A game like Origin System's Space Rogue would be incredible using
the IIgs's Fillmode graphics!

Unfortunately I've only seen demos, and very few at that! Off the top
of my head there was "Cubination" (bouncing multiple sided shape), Polygonia I
(series of animated shapes, slow though), FillMaze (3-D maze game), and FTA's
Modulae (Filled 3-D objects, and the 'calculated animation' where we're shown
moving inside, around, and through the giant FTA logo). Antic's StarMaze *may*
use Fillmode animation, though I'm unable to tell. Is it difficult, from a
programmers point of view, to create games and applications that use Fillmode?
If not, it'd be really nice to see some games take advantage of this unique
capability we have on our IIGSes! :-)
