That won't help. It is only a supplement to the AppleShare server software
which adds stuff so you can boot Apple II's from the server.
System 7 filesharing does not support remote booting. Its purpose is to
share files with other machines running AppleShare, not to provide remote
booting services that less than 1% of System 7 users will use.
I agree with the recommendation to buy a cheap used hard drive. Install
AppleShare on that, and then there should be no problem accessing stuff on
the Mac (which may still be set up wrong, but the Mac installer should be
able to take care of that).
