This one is really badly eaten to the extent that even some large
areas of groundplane are missing. In order to locate the ends of the
affected traces, several components have to be removed, too (because
there are entire traces eaten from via to via, on the component side
of the board, and the traces in question run under components - so to
work out where to bridge, I have to pull off the component).

The leaking was so severe and it was left so long in this state that
there's a 4" radius section of the RF shield can rusted almost
completely through in the general vicinity of the battery.

It is theoretically repairable but it's a lot of work, not just a
matter of tacking a couple of wires here and there.
