I agree, but it was still heavily branded as an Apple/Claris product,
and I expect Apple had a strong influence on what features were to be
included.
The packaging, distribution and feature set changed somewhat with
version 4 and later, and Claris seemed to regard it as a spinoff
product, e.g. they didn't add support for converting AppleWorks 4 file
formats to ClarisWorks on the Mac.
