Given that the green one I ordered predates the IIc, are there any
functional diffs between early Applesoft Basic and what is on the IIc?

A few minor ones. Removal of cassette LOAD & SAVE, addition of
lowercase support, undocumented double LORES mode support (with bug in
SCRN() function)

But, IMHO, the green Applesoft Reference Manual is the finest BASIC
manual ever written, for its blend of humor, clarity, and usability
for both the novice and the expert. Together with the Tutorial, it
spawned a whole generation of programmers.

It was written by Jef Raskin, and it stands as a tribute to his great
writing style and devotion to usability and accuracy.
