This is interesting.  Software-selectable null modem vs.
straight-through?  Amazing.  I suppose it makes sense since they
control the pins.  Anyway... it will matter what the cable you have
between the IIgs and the OSX machine is.  The keyspan has a DB-9
connector - how do you switch to the round 8-pin connector?  Is
everything straight through after the Keyspan, or does something else
do a null modem function in addition to the Keyspan software?

Yep, this is the port to use, as far as I can tell from reading the
Keyspan documentation.  Anyone have a spare one I could borrow for
testing and documentation purposes? :-)
