So I found a thrift store not too far from me(Carrboro, NC) and in fact
after searching through a few big buckets of cables came across a
DB15-DB15 Mac video cable!  And in fact it was $1.  I think I'll hack
one end off and solder my DB9 to it.  yay!

Maybe this weekend.
