Sure, but unless the emulator bypasses the Newton OS in some way, the
eMate might still be too slow. The Newton OS is a /huge/ overhead on
this model (as it is on the 1xx series). I'm not a techie though, so I
might be wrong here. But if Paul says so, I tend to believe him.
So, rather than being relatively passive after starting an app, the
Newton OS is constantly eating processor resources in the background?
If it consumes more than 25% of the processor while a *non-OS-using*
application is running, that is a *fiercely* intrusive OS!
