BTW, about what he says in this article about getting
double-high-resolution by swapping hgr softswitches at every vsync:
He takes care to shift the pixels via the eighth bit setting, but, in
addition, wouldn't the pixel timing need to be half what it is ? I mean,
won't the pixels in fact overlap (instead of interleave) as they last
too long (twice as much) for double hi-res ?
Also, "the incompatible peripherals" surely must be those whose data-bus
load drains the "floating-now-standing-on-his-own-capacitance" data bus
charge in less than 500nSec.. ?
