Re: Getting files from a pc => mac => IIGS and/or a IIe

Hi all,

Just a quick note, as time is not on my side right at the moment.  I
have fumbled around and managed to get Local tlk working between the
Mac and the IIGS.  Well, just the basics I guess as in I can see the
hard drive of the Mac on the IIGS.  However, I can't share the floppy
drive.  I select the floppy icon on the Mac, then go to the "File" menu
and choose "Sharing ...".  Then up comes a message stating that you
cannot share files on the floppy.

So unless there's something I've missed (which is not only possible,
but very likely) this option won't work.

Am also going through the other options that people have mentioend -
will let you knw tomorrow on them.

Bill,  Thanks for the offer.  Will get in touch, most likely, but would
like to see if I can do this with what I have available if possible.
I'm sure I'll learn a lot more that way and I'm sure I have enough
hardware - it's the knowledge that is lacking.  :)
