Filesharing a floppy was dropped from later versions of the OS. I don't
remember at which version it happened at.
There is a program called ProType which I think does the correct creator
and filetype on the Mac before any resource forks get added. With this
program I think you could copy the files from the PC floppy to a Mac
volume, drop the files on this and then be able to copy them over via
filesharing without a resource fork. It's been a while, but it must
have been something I used a lot as it had a prominent place in my
easily accessible utilities.
E-mail me, either at the address defined through my .sig or just use
gregbuchner at the same play you're using for e-mail...
