I checked and StuffIt is included from MacOS 8.5, so 7.5.5 didn't have
this.  So what I need to find now is an *.sea version of StuffIt 5.5.
once I have that I *think* everything else should slowly fall into
place.  I'm not at home right now so am spending a bit of time googling
for this.  Seems that it's not so easy to find.

I did also try using StuffIt on the PC to extract the files then move
them to the Mac, but according to another post that won't work (which
is what I found also).

Anyway, getting closer every day and each "failure" teaches me more ...
