Re: RGB colors

Does anyone have schematics for the RGB card?
I'm thinking of improving the output of my FPGApple to match the output of the "real" RGB.

I would be interested in that too.

I have actually started to draw schematics for the RGB card I have but have yet some work to do there. There is a PAL16V8 there which can't be read so its function must be deduced.

Anyway this RGB card I have 'Apple IIe 80col/RGB' doesn't make the colors, it just outputs a digital pattern which is then translated to colors by the monitor. I don't have a matching AppleColor 100 monitor so I do not know what colors are displayed there for the codes. It is mentioned that this monitor has a summing network, but I do not know how complicated it is.

I have a CGA monitor that I now use with this RGB card initially I got rather many colors that were in the wrong place for example Brown switches place with Grey 1. I am now making a PAL thing to put inbetween the CGA interface and the Apple to swap colors around to fit better. But it will never be a perfect fit. For example there is no CGA color like Aqua Marine. I wonder if AppleColor 100 is the same as the CGA...

Note: As I understand it there are several RGB cards and the other cards do analog RGB like the IIgs, and I would guess they are mimicking NTSC colors.
