     Yes; especially since you can fine-tune the speed of your target
A2 drive. The copies can match whatever speed Disk2FDI likes.

     Another variable seems to be the diskette media. Evidently,
magnetization and graininess properties vary enough among DD ("360k")
5.25" diskettes to make a difference. Probably that's at least partly
because most current PC 5.25" drives are 1.2MB models.

     So, once copy speed is optimized, it may be a good idea to keep
track of a few diskettes that always produce a good image. You can
move their content to any diskette your Apple II can read and, then,
use them for transferring copies of diskettes to PC via Disk2FDI.
