people have heardstories of my bsmnt here (see old news posts) of large
rubber maid containers filled with various apple // goodies i've saved...and
think i exaggerate (think around 100 rubbermaid containers)..ok i've cleaned
up some and am putting said stuff in metal cabinets..(ie siders nice in a
row..) and am trying to inventory stuff (checklists/xerox./index and
eventually pdf the stuff and you can muck thru my handwriting)....talk about
boring..but i've no real idea of what i have till i do it....

ok because this proslot  was in  the dapple //e unit for use with an
electron microscope (kinda wanted to keep it together don't you know..in
case someone gave me an electron microscope)...i safely stored it in one of
the many rubber maid containers...in my bsmt (the apple // stuff must be
protected from moisture and/or other catastophie that might befall
mankato..for archeologists to dig out)..

so as you can see with prob 50 containers left..ie..must move 49 containers
stacked 6 high in large block encompassing room in bsmt..) it will depend on

1)motivation...(i'll try)

2) and luck in guessing

and for you people wanting the mousetrap //e eprom fix pic..yeah..that is in
my original first apple //e(burst of warm fuzzy feeling encompassing me) and
you guessed it...i pack rat'd it away moisture proof safe within the
confines of my 33 percent rubbermaid part of my total basement

(never ..never ...start on ebay in 1999 when a sider was 12 bucks and
shipping..and/or collect said stuff since 1983..and especially know a buddy
who has a pawn shop...and he basically could not give me the stuff  fast
enough..exact quote..get this stuff out of here....to get it out of his
shop..and of course last but not least the wonderful ..how much of this
stuff can you get into a box 2x a year local 4 year minnesota state
university surplus sale...actually still a pretty big deal with mac users
now that most univ are going to the dark side with windows XP etc...equip at
state level is bought by lowest bidder..so macs are getting creamed by win
boxes....)

so when i kidded about WOZ putting up a museum..and me sending him stuff ( a
nice bronze donation label on each display)...i REALLY would send him a lot
of this crap....but it is damn hard to sell this stuff when a sider w/o a
card or manual or software (although people can get that elsewhere) is going
for 125 bucks...don't even get me started on wildcards....so i hoard and
play with stuff ..it is a sickness you all are familar with....

i've prob tossed 2x as much stuff as i saved...

(and i used to laugh at ham radio nuts, antique radio collectors...and the
lady down the block who collects ceramic cats...crap i'm probably worse)
