Thanks - wasn't sure about this.

They are indeed cut on both sides - seems the owner didn't have much
disks ;-)

Uh-oh, I wish I had more time so I could try this. Is there a PC-only
base program to make NIB images, or should I definitely find a way to
connect the Aplle to the PC ?

I think I read somewhere that a disk image could be made on two apple 2
blank disks, then read back on a modern computer but this involved a
Macintosh - which I don't have :-/
