I have Marinetti MacIP working over a gatorbox. I use the DNS server addresses that my ISP provides. So our setup is similar just different Localtalk bridge.
Do you have a windows machine you can run ethereal on? This would tell you if the packets are getting past the MAC and to the dns server and back okay.
Just to confirm ...if you determined the ip address of a telnet host on the internet then you try to connect ...you can currently connect to that host successfully?
