: I use .d64 images on my C64 and 1541 easily, by making the images into
real
: disks and back again with my PC. I have one (1) floppy disk that I use
: regularily any more, and its only purpose is to temporarily hold .d64
: images. The point is, the lines have become blurred.

I've made a few disks from images using the special cable and only
the 1541 drive connected to my PC, but there is supposed to be
a type of server in the software package that allows you to connect
the C64 directly and load the D64 images. Am I wrong? I have yet
to try it this way. My space is limited and I just can't have 3-4 vintage
machines connected to my PC at the same time or I would have by now.
If anyone has insight into this, I'd appreciate hearing what they've been
capable of accomplishing.
