Wow, thats amazing - back in the day, everyone I knew was saying the
opposite. The opinions shared with me (I had a Monitor II btw) were that the
Monitor III was much nicer, had the anti-glare filter, was better on the
eyes because of the slow phosphor, yada, etc... that the Monitor II
flickered too much, that it's pivoting screen could get dislodged too easily
from moving it around (roughly I assume) and a host of other reasons.

Goes to show, personal preferences and opinions vary - I liked my Monitor
II.
