I don't know what it's like there, but I can walk into
any Radio Shack and quite a few hardware stores that
carry electrical items and get a conversion kit that lets
you plug a 220v device into 110v. I would assume that
there must be a similar current conversion device that is
available there also. Also, you might find a device online,
if you are so inclined, that you could make/build. I've made
several DC current converters which saved me quite a bit
of cash, as opposed to buying lots of different power supplies.
It isn't difficult, believe me if I can do it you can, and I'm sure
the parts are available somewhere near you, or online. I'd
seriously look into a converter before messing around inside
the monitor.
