So Stanford University knows more about the economy than the government that releases the statistics that Stanford economists use to arrive at their deductions? Is that what you are saying? Since neither the non partisan CBO nor the administration have revealed the cost of the war.
"The study looked at the impact on the stock market..." well, I guess it looked too soon, didn't it? Since we have had 8 consecutive gains the longest run up and the highest run up in TWENTY years (that's 20 years for people who can't read very well.) Or didn't you hear today's news?
"oil prices" which have been dropping, and that will release a lot of pressure on both consumers and businesses. That too should give the economy a bounce.
It would seem that Stanford spoke too soon, like a lot of other people. I predict (not that this is my field) that in a year's time, the economy will be chugging along nicely. And look for a re-election like Reagan had in 1984.
I just wish I had been buying stocks this past winter instead of paying off debts. Oh well, both are sound investments.
