Re: Apple IIgs motherboard problem



I have had a similar problem with a ROM3, which turned out to be one bad
DRAM chip. As they are not socketed in either ROM1 or ROM3 you will need
someone to de-solder the chips and try them one at a time in a know good
card. IIRC I used a 4MB RAM card to swap the chips into with the right type
of DRAMs. But you will also need another working GS for this.

At least for a ROM1 you only have 6 DRAMs to worry about, the ROM3 has 10
IIRC.
