Sounds like a 1 meg card all right.  Any other card other than the
SCSI card installed?  Pull out all the cards and just leave in the
RAM and SCSI card and try to boot.  Did you make a system
disk too?  Try running that instead of the Install disk.  (ie the
System disk of the GS/OS set is bootable).  I believe you can
then put the Install disk in the drive and click on Installer.  That
might work instead.
