Re: Installing OS6.01 -> IIgs hangs........



Thanks for your kind attention.

I pulled out the ram card and it has 32 chips with 256 inscribed on
them, so I guess that it's a 1MB card. Is this correct ?

When I ctrl-apple-esc -> ram, I am told there is about 1300Kb total,
i.e. in use + ram + free. Can I rely on this ?

Even when I hold down the shift key at bootup, I am still prevented from
booting and I get a beep about midway through the red bar's traversal
beneath the Bootup Logo.

Other information as to resolution would be gratefully applied.
