gs monitor died?
after several months of having my gs dismantled (ok, ok, don't beat me.
i know that means i'm no longer apple ii true), i tried putting it back
together. but i guess what i've heard is true. once you take them
apart, they get miffed and just won't play right anymore.
my monitor refuses to look at me. i've been reading a lot of the
messages here in hopes that it might turn out to be only a battery
problem (like happened to my Performa last year) but i guess the gs
battery only runs the clock & desktop ram & all.
so, before i go looking to buy a new monitor (or (sniff) permanently
pack the gs away in the back bedroom with my IIe), is there anything i
could try that might tell me for certain that it's the monitor? i can
hear the system trying to boot, but i see absolutely nothing.
suggestions, gentlemen?
