my net connection at work seems to be notorious for skipping large
numbers of messages. it's managed to skip every one that you seem to
have "detailed things" in.... 8\

yeah, i gathered that, when you were starting on Turley just before
his recent exodus.... ...then you mentioned them AGAIN, but this
time you were pinning it on someone else... <shrug> whatever. at
this point, i really couldn't care less. all i'm interested in in any
capacity is some method of attaching my //gs to an ethernet network.
i understand that there's nothing on the market to do it, unless i'm
interested in using a serial connection, in which case i could use
Marinetti.... WAIT! i can't do that, either. when i was in high
school (15 years ago), i got an illegal copy of Kareteka, and i even
wrote programs for people to turn in for their physics class. i guess
that throws me in the group of those who "pirate or support piracy",
so i guess that means i can't do THAT, either. oh, well. i guess
i'll just have to find some way to dispose of my GS, eh?

why bother? any time i go there, i get WAAAAY too many posts to be
relevant to what i'm looking for, and since my time is finite, there's
no real point in it. sometimes, a good thing can be too much of one.
congrats, Nathan. you've managed to force yet another //gs user to
"just say Fuck it". i hope you're happy.
