To keep this thread II related, I must say that those machines
Apple just dropped support for make excellent File Servers for the GS.
Install Norton Utilities on the machine and you can fix your HFS disks
with no problems. System 7.55 makes my SE fly. Old Macs are plentiful as
II's (I got all 5 of my old Macs for free). It's worth it to run the
latest (and last) system on these older machines.
