Yep 68000 support is gone, that's what I was saying. So is support for my 
SE/30. I was talking to a guy at Apple about this. I think they should put out
a mode32 style patch for the non 32 bit '030s so they can stay current until
all 68K support goes. Or at least make the system work on my SE/30 with a IIfx
ROM SIMM installed. It works and gives 32 bit addressing but doesn't boot with
systems >7.1.
The story I got from the Apple guy was there is a lot of code in the system
just for supporting these boxes and they want to streamline the system. Fine
I say, why not have an extension which installs this code on boxes which
need it?
