i have a ramfast in slot 6, and a normal gs/os launch took 30 or 32 seconds on
my rather large system. then i set slot 6 to fast and it took 24 seconds to
load gs/os.
A shift boot endures 12 seconds with fast/ ramfast/ zip 9/64 and a SEAD 60 MB
(seagate inside) hard disk drive.

I'm not sure if it is fast. I have heard that with a zip 9/32, a 270 mb
quantum lps drive is is possible to load gs/os (shift key held down) in only 6
seconds... can it be done any faster?
