Oh, man!  It's toast then.. boogie on everyone! :)

Seriously, if I have some time this weekend I'll read the ROM part.  At
least the part mapped to Apple II memory.  I never messed with hardware
when a kid playing on Apples, too expensive, so I'm learning a lot and
still unclear on how to get the rest of the ROM copied into memory.

This will be a good excuse to drag the old Apple II+ out and set it up!
 I use a IIgs as a IIe now because it's too hard for me to read the
80-column screen on a composite monitor.
