Admittedly, a "black light" would be a little quicker, but,
as you know, EPROMs are best erased with short wavelength
UV, not the relatively long wavelengths from a black light.

If the device says "Do not look at this for a prolonged time",
then it's probably a good EPROM eraser.  ;-)
