That's the point of keeping the Mac out of the file transfer. If you use localtalk to connect a IIgs to the Mac (and the printer cable you have will do that), the IIgs can "see" the PC floppy in the Mac drive directly, and then the *IIgs* copies the file, not the Mac. Since the Mac only handles I/O, but never moves the floppy file into a Mac filesystem, it doesn't get a fork in the first place. -michael Music synthesis for 8-bit Apple II's!
